The Kemp is solid brass with clear glass — no prismatic ribbing, no cage. You see the bulb, and the light comes out unbroken.

That makes the bulb part of the decision. A clear filament reads as warm and old-fashioned; an opal one softens the whole thing. Either way it's visible, so choose it deliberately.

IP65 rated, so it handles jets rather than just splashes — an exterior wall, a porch, or a bathroom within reach of the shower. Polished brass is unlacquered and will patina, faster outdoors than in. Takes one E27 bulb.
