Hollen Polished Brass Brimmed Dome Pendant

The Hollen Polished Brass Brimmed Dome Pendant is a prismatic cut-glass shade held in solid brass fittings, finished in polished brass. The dome measures 30cm across and 29cm high, hung from a three-metre chain that can be shortened to suit your ceiling, giving a maximum drop of 345cm. At full length it has the reach to hang through a stairwell or double-height space; shortened, it sits low and warm above a dining table or kitchen island.

Three prismatic patterns are cut into the glass — across the dome, the side and the brim — so light breaks and scatters as it passes through rather than falling as one flat pool. Against that, the polished brass fittings hold a bright, direct shine that reads at its best where people sit close enough to notice it.

It takes a single E27 screw-fit bulb (not included), up to 40W. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and wired to Class I, it suits hallways, stairwells and dining spaces rather than bathrooms or exteriors. The ceiling rose measures Ø12.2cm, and at 5.6kg we'd recommend installation by a qualified electrician. Extra chain is available to order.

Made by Soho Lighting to order, in polished brass only — a single finish rather than a spread of options, which is very much the point: the pendant is built around the particular warmth and weight of solid brass rather than offering a choice away from it.
