Hollen Globe Classic Polished Brass Pendant

The Hollen Globe Classic Pendant is a generous textured prismatic glass globe set in solid brass, designed to hang low over a table or kitchen island and gather the room beneath it. At 50cm in diameter and 52.5cm tall, it has the scale to anchor a dining space without ever feeling heavy-handed, hung from a Ø14.8cm ceiling rose on a 3m chain that extends to a maximum drop of 375cm.

The glass is textured and prismatic rather than plain, so light breaks as it passes through and spreads in every direction — the room fills with a soft, unhurried glow rather than a single hard-edged pool. The brass cap, ball base and chain are left unlacquered, which means they will darken and patinate naturally with time rather than holding a factory shine. If you want brass that stays as it arrived, this is not that fitting; if you want one that ages into the room, it is.

It takes a main E27 screw-fit bulb, up to 40W, and has a second GU10 lamp position beneath the globe for a downward light — so it can work as ambient light, as task light over a table, or both at once. Bulbs are not included. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and earthed to Class I.

The chain can be shortened to suit your ceiling, and we'd recommend installation by a qualified electrician. Made by Soho Lighting in solid brass, offered in this one finish alone — a decision that keeps the piece honest to its period character rather than stretching it thin across variations it was never built for.
