That plainness is the point. Where the Carlisles announce themselves, the Flaxman sits back and lights the wall it's mounted on. It suits a modern exterior, a run along a wall where several fittings would otherwise compete, or a bathroom that doesn't want a feature light.

IP65 rated, so it handles jets rather than just splashes. Polished brass is unlacquered and will patina — handled edges stay bright, sheltered areas deepen, and outdoors it moves faster. Choose the lacquered version if you want it to stay as it arrives. Takes one E27 bulb.
