D'Arblay Lacquered Antique Brass Scalloped Prismatic Glass Dome Pendant

A small early-20th-century-inspired pendant from Soho Lighting's French Collection, built around a deeply cut prismatic glass dome with a scalloped edge. At 18cm across and 20.5cm tall it is a compact fitting — one over a hallway, or a run of three above a counter.

The dome throws light both up and down rather than only downward, which is what stops it casting the hard shadows and glare a solid shade produces. The prismatic cutting scatters it further, so the ceiling above the fitting is lit as well as the surface below.

This is the lacquered antique brass finish, which holds the colour it arrived in. The same pendant is made in nickel if you want a cooler metal.

It takes one E14 small screw-fit bulb, sold separately. Hung on a 3-metre cable that can be shortened, with extra length available to order. Dry indoor rooms. Installation is a job for a qualified electrician.
