Gatsby Small Wall Light

The Gatsby is an Art Deco wall light built around a slim rectangular panel of hand-ribbed glass. The smallest of the three at 27cm tall, 6.7cm wide and projecting 8.6cm, it suits a narrow stretch of wall — beside a mirror, flanking a door, or in a run along a hallway.

The ribbing is hand-worked rather than moulded, so the glass diffuses the light into a soft, even glow instead of showing a point source. The rod is closed at both ends, which means no dust collects inside it — a small thing that matters on a fitting at eye level.

It can be mounted horizontally or vertically, so it works above a mirror as readily as beside one.

Rated IP44 and suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which covers everywhere in a bathroom except inside the shower itself. 230V, Class I, wired through an IP44 terminal block. Takes one G9 capsule bulb up to 3W, sold separately. Weighs 1.6kg. Installation is a job for a qualified electrician, and in a bathroom the zone matters — check it before you buy.
