Overview

The Half Cover does something the other Carlisles don't: a solid brass hood over the top half of the glass, so the light is pushed downward rather than thrown in every direction.

That makes it the one to choose where glare matters — beside a door at eye height, along a path, above a mirror. You get the light on the ground rather than in your face.

IP65 rated, so it handles jets rather than just splashes. Polished brass is unlacquered and will patina — handled edges stay bright, sheltered areas deepen, and outdoors it moves faster. Choose the lacquered version if you want it to stay as it arrives. Takes one E27 bulb.
