Siddeley Ceramics at Soho Lighting Burtii Hand-Painted Ceramic Table Lamp — Volcanic Clay

The Burtii table lamp is hand-shaped from volcanic clay by Nicaraguan artisans for Siddeley Ceramics at Soho Lighting — a collaboration with landscape architect Randle Siddeley, drawn from his travels in Nicaragua. Each base is built up in a single considered form before being fired and finished.

Every base is hand-painted in monochromatic geometric patterns, and because the work is done by hand, no two lamps are identical — the marks of the brush stay visible rather than smoothed away. An off-white bouclé empire shade is included, its texture softening the light rather than casting it sharp, so the glow that reaches the room is diffuse and warm rather than direct.

It takes one E27 bulb (not included); the Soho Lighting E27 Classic Clear Globe we pair it with is 7W and dimmable on a trailing-edge dimmer. As a plug-in table lamp it needs nothing more than a nearby socket. Full dimensions are available on request — contact us for a spec sheet.
