Mullan Schoolhouse Flush Ceiling Light 35cm — Antique Brass

The original schoolhouse shade, 35cm across — a wide, shallow dome designed to light a whole room evenly from one fixing. It is a genuinely useful shape, which is why it survived a century of institutional use and ended up in people's houses.

Big enough to hold a kitchen or a large landing on its own, and low enough not to intrude on a standard ceiling.

Takes one E27 screw-fit bulb up to 40W (not included). Rated IP20, so it is for indoor, dry rooms only.

This is an earthed (Class I) fitting, so it needs an earth connection. At 35cm it needs a secure fixing — installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.

Available in six finishes including polished and satin chrome. Made to order by Mullan Lighting in Ireland. Covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
